After using the battery for a month, it is best to press the balance switch before using it for a balanced charge. Connect the charging cable plug of the charger reliably to the battery cable connector, then connect it to AC power. After balancing the charging, manually turn off the device.
① The surface, connecting wires, and bolts of the battery should be kept clean and dry. If there is acid, use cotton yarn to wipe it off, then rinse with clean water and wipe dry.
Attention: During cleaning, it is strictly prohibited for tap water to enter the battery.
② The connection of the battery must be kept good. Especially for new cars, after 2-3 days of use, the connectors should be fully reinforced, and then the battery connectors should be thoroughly inspected once a week. Treat copper rust joints that are loose or discolored. Due to poor contact of the connector, high heat is generated, which can quickly burn out the battery connector and cause the vehicle to be unable to drive. Even more serious is that the transfer of heat can lead to the scrapping of batteries and even cause fires.
Attention: Excessive tightening force can also cause damage to the battery terminals.
③ Metal conductive materials are not allowed to be stacked on the battery to avoid short circuits and burning out the battery.
④ After discharging the battery, it must be charged on the same day, and it is not allowed to charge it every other day or for more than 24 hours. Otherwise, the battery life will be affected.
⑤ During the use of batteries, the electrolysis and evaporation of water in the electrolyte can cause an increase in density and a decrease in liquid level. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check and adjust with distilled water (water shortage can seriously affect the battery's service life). The electrolyte level should be 10mm higher than the upper edge of the electrode plate and at least 15-20mm lower than the upper edge of the battery container to prevent the electrolyte from boiling out of the container during charging.
Attention: It is strictly prohibited to add other liquids (battery additives, mineral water, tap water, etc.) to the battery.
Attention: Adding water should be done at the end of charging, and charging should be continued for 0.5-1 hour after adding water to ensure uniformity inside.
Attention: Each capacitor of the battery is independent of each other and should be filled separately without omission.
⑥ No harmful impurities are allowed to fall into the battery, and the tools used for replenishing water should be kept clean to prevent impurities from entering the battery.
⑦ During driving, attention should be paid to the battery level displayed on the power indicator to estimate the mileage of the electric vehicle, in order to avoid the vehicle being unable to return to charging in a timely manner, resulting in excessive battery discharge and shortening its service life.
⑧ If the vehicle is not used for a long time, the battery should be fully charged and stored, and at least one safe charge and discharge should be carried out every month (30 days). Before reuse, a balanced charge should be carried out.
